Being in the Mid-West, OYSAN is part of Region 2 which includes States such a IL, IN, MI, and MN. There are 4 regions in the US in total which all belong to the overarching US Youth Soccer organization.
Outstanding players from OYSAN can be selecting for the Ohio North Olympic Development Program (ODP) and can subsequently try to make the Region 2 ODP, followed by trying to make the National ODP team. SYSA has several players who have entered the OYSAN ODP training program.
